How the timers work
Pick a timer from the cards above. Each tool opens with a sensible default (for example classic Tabata 20s work / 10s rest × 8 rounds) and lets you adjust durations, rounds, and warnings where applicable.
Press Start to run the session. Most timers play short beeps for phase changes — turn your device volume up and allow audio if the browser asks after the first click.
Everything runs locally in your browser; no account is required. For long workouts keep the tab active: background throttling on mobile or desktop can slow timers when the tab is hidden.
Pomodoro may store sessions and preferences locally on your device so your streak and settings return on the next visit.
Timers FAQ
Are these timers free?
Yes. All Kalkulatori.bg timers are free to use in the browser with no paywall and no mandatory signup.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Open the page and start. For a more app-like experience you can add the site to your home screen (PWA) from the browser menu where supported.
Why is there no sound?
Check device volume and that the tab is not muted. Browsers usually require a user gesture (such as pressing Start) before playing audio.
Will the timer run if I lock my phone?
When the screen locks or you switch apps, the OS may throttle JavaScript. For reliable intervals keep the screen on or extend auto-lock for the session.
Which timer should I use?
Boxing Round for rounds + rest; Tabata / HIIT for intervals; EMOM for every-minute work; Pomodoro for focus sessions; Progress Hold for holds with cues; Countdown for a single target time; Stopwatch for laps; Kitchen for several parallel countdowns.
How accurate are the intervals?
The engine targets your configured seconds; under heavy CPU load you might see tiny drift. For official competition timing use certified hardware.
