Are the start and end days included?

There is no separate include-ends toggle. The number is the plain difference between the selected dates. If your contract counts both ends inclusively, add 1 according to that wording.

What is the difference between calendar and working days?

Calendar days include weekends and holidays. Working days exclude weekends and (in our separate tool) Bulgarian public holidays. Do not treat the two numbers as interchangeable.

Are leap years counted?

Yes. When a range crosses 29 February in a leap year, the difference follows the real calendar, not a flat 365×years shortcut.

Why count days between dates?

Useful for calendar-day deadlines, warranties, travel, and personal planning. The figure is an orientation aid — not a legal reading of “day” in a special clause.
